U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM)
One of the eleven unified combatant commands of the U.S. Department of Defense. It was established in 1983. Its Area of Responsibility (AOR) includes the Middle East, including Egypt in Africa, and Central Asia and parts of South Asia.

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)
USSOCOM develops and employs fully capable Special Operations Forces to conduct global special operations and activities as part of the Joint Force to support persistent, networked and distributed Combatant Command operations and campaigns against state and non-state actors to protect and advance U.S. policies and objectives.

Institute for Russian, European and Eurasian Studies (IREES)
IREES was established to improve knowledge and understanding of Russia, Europe, and Eurasia, and to advance global education at USF. The Institute seeks to enhance the education of students in various fields and disciplines and to train the next generation of regional specialists.

The GVN is an essential and critical defense against viral disease. It is a coalition comprised of leading virologists spanning 71 Centers, 9 Affiliates, and 40 countries worldwide. No single institution in the world has expertise in all viral areas. GVN brings the best medical virologists together to leverage individual strengths and to focus global teams of scientists on key scientific problems.
