Internships and Scholarships

THADDEUS BROWARD RYAN ENDOWED LATIN AMERICAN AND CARIBBEAN STUDIES SCHOLARSHIP

USF graduate students who are pursuing an MA in Latin American studies are eligible to apply for the Thaddeus Broward Ryan scholarship for the academic year of 2020-21. The award will be up to $1000 ($500 per semester). To be considered for this scholarship, a student must be enrolled and in good standing in the MALACS program with at least a 3.5 GPA. Applicants must submit a 500-word essay illustrating why they are passionate about Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and why they are pursuing the degree, as well as one letter of recommendation from a professor who is familiar with their academic performance. The scholarship will be awarded based on merit as well as financial need.
