A short paragraph or two describing what you do at the college

As the Senior Research Administrator, I spearhead the pre-award process in the college, which includes coordination and collaboration with faculty and central offices to ensure timely grant submissions to the funding agencies. In the post-award process, we review departmental expenses and reconcile existing awards. We oversee and process expense transfers, subawards, purchase orders, PCard expenses, subaward invoices, and general training and guidance to liaise with the faculty and central offices. My clinical research experience began at the non-profit Institute for Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research in 2005. In 2008 I transitioned to UCLA, where I was a Fund Manager (research administrator) for the CARE Center until July 2010. I worked at the Jaeb Center for Health Research in Tampa for 6 years as a Grants Manager and Contracts Specialist. I have been at USF since 2017 with a brief career shift in 2019 before returning to the university.
