Co-Occurring Disorders (COD) Training

ABOUT

This No Fee Training Series offers a comprehensive overview for counselors on topics related to assessing and treating persons with co-occurring disorders. A certificate of completion is available at no cost. Continuing Education Credits are available for a fee for some categories of licensed professionals in Florida including Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Addiction Professionals.

CE PROFESSIONS

Three Continuing Education Credits (CEs) are offered to licensed professionals for each of the nine modules in the Co-occurring Disorders: A Training Series program. (CEs are offered to Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Addiction Professionals).

As an organization approved by the Florida Board of Psychology, the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, the Association for Mental Health Administrators, and the Certification Board for Addiction Professionals of Florida. The Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute is offering this activity for 3 continuing education credits for each Module. The Institute maintains responsibility for the program.

You may choose to apply for the optional three (3) CEs for each module completed by emailing a copy of the system-generated certificates along with your Florida license number by emailing mhlpinfo@usf.edu. Once received, your CEs will be posted to CE Broker, as long as you are licensed by the state of Florida. All others may use the system-generated certificates for submission to their respective boards', contingent upon their approval.
