Curriculum Vitae

BIO

I have been a faculty member at USF since 1988. My research interests include food & gardening, substance use, deviance, and inequalities. I am the co-author of Surviving Heroin (2000), and have published articles in journals such as Social Theory and Health, the Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, and Humanity & Society. My current research examines how families manage activities and tasks around food consumption.
